This is to note that I have written a blog on the Catalyst Network website on this title. The URL is:
catalystnetwork.org/praying-through-a-pandemic/
The Catalyst Network is the group name for the churches that my own belongs to. I have not copied the wording of my new blog here, as the genre and intended readership are not identical with ‘Change of the Tide’. If you like the idea of praying heartily for the nation at this time of emergency, I hope you will wish to look up the link.

I thought as a teenager that I was going to become an architect and landscape gardener, but God had other plans. Having come to Christ in the hugely formative environment of Oxford and Cambridge in the early 1970s, I have spent much of my time and energy in the years since then contributing in a range of ways to education, training, church and community life. Married to Liz and being the glad father of two grown-up daughters who help keep me young at heart, I am also a great lover of books, history and culture in general. I am a close follower of UK politics while deliberately never having belonged to any political party. My current work in the UK and overseas includes fundraising, education, giving training in business and cross-cultural communication, bridging across differences, and teaching English.
